March, 13 1978 - First recording sessions for Voulez-Vous.

April 17-18 - Filming for promo clips for 'Eagle', 'One Man, One Woman', and 'Thank You For The Music'.

April 28 - Start of a promotional trip to the United States, including the filming on an Olivia Newton-John television special entitled 'Olivia!'. ABBA then left the United States and journeyed on to West Germany for futher promotion.

May 18 - Single release: Eagle/Thank You For The Music.

Auguest 22-23 - Filming of 'Summer Night City' promo clip.

September 6 - Single release: Summer Night City/Medley: Pick A Bale Of Cotton - On Top Of Old Smokey - Midnight Special.

November 17 - Start of a promotional trip to Japan. As part of the visit, the television program ABBA Special is taped.

December 6 - Start of a promotional trip to Great Britian.

January 6, 1979 - World premire performance of 'Chiquitita' on the televised Music of UNICEF - A Gift Of Song Concert at the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations in New York, New York, USA.

January 16 - Single release: Chiquitita/Lovelight.

February 14 - ABBA arrive in Switzerland to make the BBC television special, 'ABBA in Switzerland'. On the day of arrival, they also film the 'Chiquitita' promo video.

March 8 - Recording of Spanish version for 'Chiquitita'.

March 29 - Recording sessions for Voulez-Vous end.

April 5-6 - Filming of promo clips for 'Does Your Mother Know' and 'Voulez-Vous'.

April 23 - LP release: 'Voulez-Vous'.

April - Single release: Does Your Mother Know/Kisses Of Fire.

May 27 - Start of a promotional trip to Spain.

Summer - An extended version of 'Voulez Vous' is prepared for release on a promotional 12-inch single in the United States.

Auguest 3 - Single release: Voulez-Vous/Angeleyes.

August 8-9 - First recording sessions for 'Rubber Ball Man' and 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight).

Late August - Vocals for 'Estoy Sonando' (Spanish version of 'I Have A Dream') is recorded.

September 5 - Filming of promo clips for 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)' and 'Estoy Sonando'.

September 13 - Tour of North America begins with concert in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The tour consists of 17 shows in Canada and the United States, concluding in Toronto, Ontario, and Canada on October 7.

September 17 - Filming of television special, ABBA In Concert, begins in Seattle, Washingtion, USA.

October 15 - Single release: Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)/The King Has Lost His Crown.

October 19 - Tour on Europe begins with a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden. The tour consists of 23 show in Sweden, Denmark, France, The Netherlands, West Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Great Britian, and Ireland, concluding in Dublin, Ireland.

October 29 - LP release: Greatest Hits Vol. 2.

November - Filming of television special, ABBA In Concert concludes with concert scenes in London, England.

December - Single release: I Have A Dream/Take A Chance On Me (Live Version).
