Super Trouper
was the 7th album recorded by the famous Swedish pop-group, ABBA. More famous songs that were released from Super Trouper were, Super Trouper, The Winner Takes It All, On And On And On, and Lay All Your Love On Me.


HistoryEdit

January 7, 1980 - First recording session for ABBA's Spanish-language album, Gracia Por La Musica (Thank You For The Music). Two Spanish recordings from 1979 - 'Chiquita' and 'Estoy Sonando' - were also included on the album. Sessions ended in late January.

March 12 - Tour begins with concert in Tokyo. The tour consists of 11 shows, concluding in Tokyo on March 17.

June 23 - LP release: Gracia Por La Musica.

July 12 - Filming of 'Winner Takes It All' promo clip.

July 21 - Single release: Winner Takes It All/Elaine.

October 3 - Filming of promo clips for 'Super Trouper', 'Happy New Year', and 'Felicidad' begins.

Mid-October - Recording sessions for Super Trouper ends.

November 3 - LP release: Super Trouper.

November 25 - Single release: Super Trouper/The Piper.
