Rush is a progressive rock band from Ontario, Canada. They were originally formed by Alex Lifeson, Jeff Jones, and John Rutsey in 1968. Jones was replaced by current bassist Geddy Lee a month after the band was formed. Their debut album was released in 1974, and their most current album was released in 2012.
